Cempedak goreng recipe step by step

Cempedak fruit or scientifically know as Artocarpus integer is a native fruit from southeast Asia, commonly found in Indonesia and Malaysia. One of the delicious Malaysian snacks with coffee or tea.


  • Mix flour for fruits
  • 1 cup water
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of sugar
  • cempedak fruits 
  • 1/2 l oil for deep fry

Mix the ingredients and add the cempedak fruits in the mixture, take one by one and deep fry in hot oil till cooked.

The cempedak seeds are also consumable, which will become soft during the deep frying.
