Kedah Royal Museum

Kedah Royal Museum is situated in the heart of Alor Setar. It is a building built in 1732, and served as a royal palace.

The museum exhibits the memories and time of the Malaysia's first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, prince of the Kedah royal family.

Various objects are shown such as furniture, crockery, musical instruments, dresses and many more.
 
Entrance fee: FREE
Visiting hours:

Saturday - Thursday 9 am -  5 pm
Friday 9 am - 12:30 and 2:30 - 5 pm
Open daily except Eid Fitr and Eid Al adha.
