Malaysia is known globally as a leading producer of rubber.
The latex, which is sticky and white color, is collected from the trees. The process known as Rubber tapping. The latex looks like a normal dairy milk.
Some of the products made from latex are Gloves, Tubes, Pipes and Hoses, Vulcanized Rubber Thread and Cord, Catheters, Contraceptives, Belting, Wire, Conductors and many more.
Most of the states in Malaysia grow rubber trees, normally by corporate owned plantations and small enterprises.
When the tree became mature and the latex production is decreasing it is cut and can be used in the furniture industry.
